  With Christmas right around the corner, streets all over the world are filled with holiday spirit. For instance shops are now streaming welcoming christmas music. A very well known song is “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”, which was written in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. It was recorded by Band Aid, a group brought together by Bob and Ure, that consisted of famous British and Irish singers at the time (U2, Paul McCartney, George Michael, Sting…). But why was this song so revolutionary and most importantly why did it make such a big impact on the world? This song was none other than a charity song to raise money for the 1983-1985 famine in Ethiopia and in just one week in managed to sell over 1 million copies. In one year it was able to raise £8 million for the cause and it also won the Brit award. En la entrada de hoy os presentamos a una alumna de nocturno que está cosechando éxitos fuera del aula con tan solo 16 años. Comenzó en el mundo del fútbol pero hoy puede decir que ya es campeona de Europa de pádel. Dejemos, sin embargo, que sea ella quien nos cuente su historia... Hola, soy Alejandra Alonso De Villa, tengo 16 años y soy jugadora profesional de Pádel. Juego el circuito profesional llamado WorldPadel Tour que, para quien no lo sepa, es un circuito que consta de, aproximadamente, unos 24 torneos en todo el año por España, Europa e incluso por otras partes del mundo.   Aparte de jugar este circuito, juego también el circuito de menores en el que hay competiciones por equipos, por selecciones y por comunidades. Sin duda alguna, jugar el circuito de menores es de una de mis competiciones preferidas y es algo que cuando sea mayor voy a echar de menos porque son experiencias que vivo con todas mis compañeras y que se viven una vez en la vida.   Para llegar a donde estoy ahora
